SCIENCE 課本提到了 CONVECTION BOX 的實驗。

這個實驗裝置看起來很好玩，所以就多蒐集了一些資料。

這個是 CONVECTION CHAMBER 的玩法，

可以藉由煙在 CHAMBER 裡的行進路徑，看見空氣對流的方式。

這個 CONVECTION CHAMBER 的構造不同，但是似乎可以看得更清楚。

下面這個實驗也很有趣，雖然用的不是對流箱，

但是是一種很炫的空氣對流的｢魔術｣。

THE FORMATION OF FIRE VORTEX

How it works:
Fire is contained within a tube with an opening at the top end. The hot air in and around the fire rises, which in turn draws the surrounding air in towards the fire at the base. Air is drawn into the tube at the base of the fire via natural convention. As the air moves towards the centre of the tube, the rotational speed of the flow increases due to the conservation of its angular momentum. An intense spiralling action is created as the fire rises and gets elongated thus also producing a very intense light. This stretched-out flame -- called a vortex flame - is distinctively different to an ordinary flame. It is a fire tornado!
